Οι Gather ήταν μια πολιτική vegan straight edge hardcore punk μπάντα στην Αμερική. Δύο δίσκοι με ωμή μουσική, φλογεροί και άμεσοι στίχοι, πραγματικά hardcore punk αμφισβήτηση. Το vegan straight edge ήταν γι' αυτούς μια στάση ζωής, ένα κομμάτι του ευρύτερο αγώνα για την ολική απελευθέρωση, την οποία και υποστήριζαν. Τα τραγούδια τους έθεταν τέτοια ζητήματα και προσπαθούσαν να αφυπνίσουν πολιτικά τη hardcore σκηνή, που στο μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι της πλέον έχει χάσει τη δυναμική (που είχε όταν γεννήθηκε). Ενδεικτικό της οπτικής τους είναι το παρακάτω κομμάτι τους:
